Arts Council Northeast and the City of Roanoke are pleased to welcome Continental Divide Band for a free concert on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Austin Street Plaza Corner of Oak & Austin St.

Continental Divide Band is made up with 4 professional musicians that share the passion and love of playing to a live audience! Jewell King, the fiery redhead, with the voice of an angel, and the range to cover over 3 octaves, covers beautiful country tunes, as well as the heart-pounding, toe-tapping rock tunes of Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Bat Bentar, Sheryl Crow, Heart, and Journey. She also covers some tunes that were big hits of some male artists, that will leave you just in awe! Put her on the stage and the party begins. She loves to interact with the audience and make them feel like they are part of the show - because without the audience - this band knows - that's what makes them come alive on stage! All of the guys also sing and cover a wide range of artists, from classic rock tunes, to country as well. They pick out big hit songs, that you will want to sing along with & get up and dance! Come and see a show, feel alive and enjoy what the meaning of "Live Music" means!

Through the MasterWorks Series, Arts Council Northeast and the City of Roanoke present free performances on selected evenings throughout the year. The MasterWorks Series is designed to offer a variety of quality family entertainment to the community by utilizing the talent of local, regional, and national artists.
